Farm Based Education

What we offer:

  • A farm-based education workshop (hour and half long class for students 2nd-12th grade) includes seasonal planting, harvest and composting. See below for scheduling details.
  • Businesses and organizations interested in an hour-long afternoon visit can chose to focus on green roofing, farm practices on the rooftop, and urban farming discussion.
  • Private classes: as listed on our calendar, the Farm also hosts seasonal classes featuring local chefs, urban farming experts, and more.

The Eagle Street Rooftop Farm offers programming:

  • On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am-1pm.
  • On Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays between 4-7pm

Free Public Programming

Additionally, the Farm offers free public programming as part of our 2pm Sunday series.  Check our calendar for free workshop details!

Our educational programming is offered in partnership with Growing Chefs: Food Education from Field to Fork.
